Careers In Nonprofits takes a unique approach to understanding both candidates and organizations in the nonprofit sector so that we can connect the right people with the right causes. Our goal is to find the most qualified and passionate candidates who meet the requirements and share the mission of our nonprofit clients.
For permanent positions, we begin by meeting with a nonprofit client to understand the mission of the organization and the details of the position(s) they are seeking to fill. We then open a full search for candidates through networking calls, database searches, and job postings. As we gather resumes and identify potential candidates, we conduct phone and in-person interviews to screen for the position. After initial interviews, we recommend the top few candidates to our client for further consideration and follow them through the remainder of the interview process, providing reference and background checks to the client as requested. A successful search concludes with a formal offer from a client and acceptance by a candidate.
For temporary positions, we begin with candidates we have already met and interview additional candidates as necessary for a particular assignment. Careers In Nonprofits is always meeting new candidates. When a client contacts us with a temporary staffing need, we have a pool of pre-screened candidates available to fill the assigment. With the requirements of the position in mind, we call upon those who are most qualified in order to make an appropriate match.
For temp to permanent positions, we conduct searches on a case-by-case basis depending upon the specific request and timeline.
In all cases, we make it our business to connect the best candidates with the best causes.
